フィラデルフィア日米協会が主催する「アメリカ-ジャパン健康科学ダイアログ」 は、日米両国のライフサイエンスに従事する、製薬会社、研究機関、政府関係者等を一同に招き、活発な意見交換とネットワークを推進することを目的とし、2000年より毎年フィラデルフィアにて開催されてきました。
１０年目を迎える今年に初めて日本で開催する運びとなり、フィラデルフィアの友好親善都市である神戸をその地と定めました。

Inaugurated by the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia in March 2000, the US-Japan Health Sciences Dialogue aims to enhance awareness of healthcare and life science issues and opportunities that exist in Japan and the U.S. by facilitating communication among industry, government and academic groups from both countries. The forum also showcases healthcare expertise in the Delaware Valley and promotes collaboration between regional institutions and Japan.
