Cherry Blossoms on the Schuylkill River

Matthew Meyer's 100 Famous Views of Philadelphia: Cherry Blossoms on the Schuylkill River was inspired by Hiroshige's 100 Famous Views of Edo woodblock print series and depicts cherry trees planted by the Japan America Society. This image is the 1st print in the 100 Famous Views of Philadelphia series, begun for the 2006 Cherry Blossom Festival. Each print is matted and poly-bagged.

The artist, a South Jersey native, currently lives and works in Japan, hoping to learn more about Japanese art. More of his work can be seen at http://www.matthewmeyer.net
