Join us in Fairmount Park for a spring celebration of Japanese arts and culture! Sakura Sunday is Philadelphia’s own o-hanami, the Japanese tradition of revelry beneath the blossoming cherry trees. Sakura Sunday is the centerpiece event of our Festival and will feature a wide array of events: - Tamagawa Taiko Drum and Dance

- Origami, calligraphy & crafts stations
- Kimono and Japanese art vendors
- Japan America Food Court
- Cherry tree planting ceremony
- Japan's Cherry Blossom Queen
- Tea Ceremony Demonstrations
- Shiatsu Massage and Reiki Treatment
- Tours of Shofuso Japanese House and Garden
